History

The company Aco Garage was founded in 1969 in a barn in Torslanda, more or less as a hobby. After 10 years as a sheet metal worker at Volvo, Seppo Kääpähas gained a good reputation, good enough for neighbors and friends to come to him for help with their cars. The idea was born to start your own garage. Said and done.

Seppo took over ACO Bilsvets and worked at first alone. As more and more missions fell into he needed more employees. Among those who helped were Mats Moberg, Linda Moberg’s father, who showed great interest and quickly became a talented roofer. Mats and Seppo ran together ACO garage and at that time they also started a consulting business at Volvo, which mostly employeed 25 people in the ACO.

Nowadays ACO Resource is driven by Linda Moberg who chose to close down the body panel workshop in Torslanda. The company is concerned now only with the manning of the really skilled sheet metal workers and also education in Sweden and abroad.
